AN IRIS GARDEN

SERENDIPITY

My doctor — one of my many doctors — has a garden. From April through October, there are flowers. Everything is late this year. Usually we see irises in May. This year, we didn’t see them until June.

These are classic blue flag iris. They grow everywhere in New England, in many places, wild. This is the very end of iris time. Next, it will be lilies and roses.

Pictures taken with the Pentax Q7 using the f2.8 15-45mm lens.
